Metropolitan Ministries - Backpacks of Hope
Stop by the Acts 1:8 tables to pick up a flyer on the Backpacks of Hope drive. Metropolitan Ministries has been offering a helping hand to inner city families for 35 years. Each summer they collect backpacks for children who otherwise would go without. Metropolitian Ministries is dedicated to offering the hope and love of Jesus.
Juveniles for Jesus Training Session- Join Pastor Cindy Lane as she shares how to minister to children ages 8 through 18 who are presently incarcerated for a two year term. These children simply need to feel they matter and are loved. Many are victims of abuse and abandonment. Please consider sharing the unconditional redeeming love of Jesus with them.
Canines for Christ
We are excited to introduce a new ministry. Our very own Larry and Susan Randolph have been led by the Spirit to start this ministry, Canines for Christ Dog Therapy Ministry. The mission of the ministry is to "reach out to people who are elderly, sick or simply forgotten and restore their hope by sharing your faith. Your beloved pet becomes the door to open one's heart and receive the compassion the great commission instructs us to share."
