"Character Counts"

Feb. 28 Study begins 7 p.m. Room 213

Our Tuesday Night Men's Large Group will take a closer look into a few of the character traits of Jesus Christ. This 6-week study will both challenge and encourage men in their daily lives. Whether you have been studying the Bible for years, are new to the faith, or somewhere in-between, this Large Group Study will be fun and inspiring.

Study guides are available for only $5. The study officially begins February 28.

We meet every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Room 213.

This is a great opportunity to get involved with a Large Group of men learning and growing together. You are welcome to join in the discussion

Van Dyke has another" Family Fun Fest" coming up on Saturday March 31st and JourneyMen will be doing the cooking. We will need about 15 men to assist with setting up, cooking, and clean-up. Small Group Opportunities

The men at Van Dyke, JourneyMen, have the opportunity to be part of a small group that meets weekly to offer support, encouragement, accountability, Bible Study, and fellowship with one another. Click here for more information about Men's Small Groups.

Something powerful happens when men come together in common focus around the person and work of Jesus Christ. In this setting, masks and walls can be removed and an honest fellowship and brotherhood can begin. Small Groups can help to model, teach, and encourage practical application of biblical principles that build a foundation for living a life in Christ.

JFJ Ministries

Pastor Cindy is always looking for groups of men to come and cook breakfast and simply offer a hope and faith to boys who are serving a 2 year sentence. They are between the ages of 8 and 16.

We are the ministry to men here at Van Dyke Church. We believe that every man that attends church at Van Dyke is part of JourneyMen.

Men's Conference

February 17-18, 2012

Over 100 men, from 6 different churches participated in this year's Men's Conference at Van Dyke. The message was clear and direct regarding three key principles to leading a Christ-like life: Character, Integrity, and Accountability.

A big "THANKS" goes out to the JourneyMen leadership team and well over a dozen volunteers that helped make this event a huge success.
