CARE About One Another in Christ

The following are areas that you can get involved with the Care Ministry:

Caring Friends

· Meet needs of those in nursing homes, shut-ins and patients

requiring long term care.

Caring Card Writers

· Provide your own cards and postage to send encouragement.

Caring Cooks

· Cook meals for families in times of crisis.

Care Link Team

· A representative of ministry teams to coordinate prayer and care

needs for their ministry area and communicate to the Church

Care Pastors.

Hospital Visitation Team

· Visit those who are ill and hospitalized. Training required.

Bereavement Team

· Provide support to the family in preparation for, during and after

funerals.

Ancient Paths Ministry

· Ministry weekend workshop - help with food and check-in.

Manor Care Nursing Home

· Visit residents and help with worship on the 4th Sunday of each

month.

Intercessory Prayer Team

· Meets each Tuesday evening to pray for specific needs.

Prayer Partners

· Pray with others after services.

E-Prayer Team

· Pray for urgent requests received by e-mail.

Prayer Neighbor

· Prayer walking neighborhoods.

Care Support Groups

· Groups for specific needs such as: Divorce Recovery, Grief

Support Group and Breaking Free.

Care Support Group Facilitator

· Facilitate Divorce Recovery, Grief Support and other groups.

Screening required.
