The following are areas that you can get involved with the Cultivate Ministry:

Adult Discipleship

· Adult Discipleship Leader

· Coordinate classes and seminars. Work with leaders in training,

developing resources and curriculum.

· Administrative Helper

· Provide administrative assistance to the Adult Education Minister.

· Teacher/Facilitator

· Teach/lead adult education classes, such as Bible 101, 201,

Precepts and Disciple.

· Apprentice Teacher

· Co-teach with the lead teacher.

Vineyard Bookstore

· Vineyard Bookstore & Café Volunteers

· Receive and process inventory, make coffee and cookies,

duplicate CD's, use the cash register weekdays, Wednesday

and Saturday evenings, Sunday mornings.

Library

· Library Volunteer

· Staff and serve in the library located in Room 208 in the Spiritual

Life Center.

· Categorize donations, data entry, reshelf the book returns and

create displays.

Yes Table

· Yes Table Volunteer

· Serve those who say “Yes” to Jesus for the first time (after each

service).

Children's Ministry

· Creative Arts Team

· Back drops, props, costumes and media.

· Craft Team

· Assemble craft needs for the week.

· Set-up/Take-down Tea

· Set-up and take-down classrooms/large group room for crafts and

drama.

· Saturday Nights Kid’s Church (6:00 p.m.)

· Large Group Leaders - Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. Team Leader

from September-May.

· Sunday Morning (9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.)

· Children's Programming - For ages 2 and 3, ages 4, 5 and 6 and

for 1st through 5th grade.

· Coaches - Oversee a team of volunteers and facilitate the

ministry they present. Coaches exist in each area of children's

ministry.

· Small Group Leaders and Assistants for ages 3 years -

kindergarten.

· Large Group Programmers - Communicate lessons for large

groups of elementary age kids using creative curriculum,

storytellers, drama, art, media, music and tons of fun.

· Detour (Wednesday night children's program)

· Large Group Leaders - Lead group praise and worship.

· Detour Guides - Facilitate workshops so that leaders can

be present.

Crowd control, supply preparation and assist workshop leader.

· Detour Workshop Leader - Select an area of interest and lead a

4-week workshop for elementary age kids teaching and

coaching them for growth.

· Vacation Bible School (for children ages 3 years - through entering

kindergarten) (July 31st - August 9th, 9:15 a.m. - noon)

· Serve in many areas from teaching to snacks.

· Sports Camp (Summer for children grade 1st - 5th)

· High energy, athletic driven, Summer Outreach program with all

levels of commitment available.

· Tween Ministry

· Help lay a spiritual foundation through special events and

programming for 5th and 6th graders.

· Family Night/Family Festival/Family Mission Trips

· These family events are designed to create a place for families to

grow and learn together. They are fun and designed for all types

of families.

· Kids Special Events

· Children's Ministry offers 4 large events every year. These kid

targeted events are intended for Van Dyke and the surrounding

community.

· Kids Serving Kids

· Kids can learn to serve others too. Designed to help kids serve in

Children's Ministry as well as in the community. Help kids learn

to lead music, puppets, drama and supply tech support.

Special Needs Ministry

· Special Needs Coordinator

· Coordinate programming for the adult, youth and children's Special

Needs Ministry.

· Special Needs Sunday School

· Programming for all ages. Meets at the 9:30 a.m. hour.

Middle School Ministry (6th - 8th Grade)

· Fusion Team

· Join one of our leadership teams serving students on Sunday evenings:

Burger Babes, Power Pak Leaders (small group), Administrative

Team, Tech Team, Worship Team, S.W.A.T. Team, Prayer Team

and Program Team.

· Controlled Chaos (Sunday Morning 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.)

· Sunday Morning Worship with Middle School in mind!

· Youth leaders recruited for sound, snack bar, serve, greeters,

drama team, etc. with adults as overseers.

· Ocean Bible Study (Wednesday 7:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.)

· Share your testimony with students during a weekly Bible Study.

· Ministry Thru the Arts

· Held on Thursday evenings. Various activities are available for

Middle School youth.

· Puppet Team

· Assist the Puppet Team. Tasks vary.

· Admin Assistant for Youth

· Help the Admin Assistant with administrative tasks.

· Bus Driver

· Be licensed to drive the youth buses for retreats and other youth

functions.

· Aikido

· Martial Arts class for 6th grade to adult.

· Care Team

· Provide cards and meals for families of Middle School students.

· Parent Volunteer

· Sign up to get involved by providing snacks, joining a work day,

volunteering for our Christmas Party, special projects,

missions, occasional office volunteer or drive for events.

Senior High Ministry (9th - 12th grade)

· The FlipSide Ministry (Sunday Nights 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.)

· Make an impact in the life of a student with our team.

· Sunday School (Sunday Morning at 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.)

· Sunday School Teachers - For 9th - 12th graders.

· The Road (Wednesday Night at 7:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.)

· Tribes (Bible Study Leader) - Lead weekly Bible Study for

High School students.

· Bus Driver

· Be licensed to drive the youth buses for retreats and other youth

functions.

· Puppet Team

· Lead young people to reach out to others through puppets.

· Sound and Light Techs

· Manage sound and lights for youth events.

· Transportation

· Provide automobile transportation on an as needed basis.
