Don't under estimate what the Holy Spirit can do simply using YOU to flip pancakes. These youth are blown away by the kindness and are so appreciative. Consider joining us one morning for 2.5 hours to share words of encouragement to them.
Remember there are seasoned team leaders at each serve who will help you get plugged in. Remember to leave your personal belongings in your car, and you will be asked to sign in and leave your keys at the front desk of each facility. Please read through the following do's and don'ts. Click here to
Do be respectful of the confidentiality and boundary guidelines with the youth.
Do be respectful of staff and administrative request.
Do be conscious of your time schedules and adhere to them.
Do enjoy your volunteer time with the youth.
Do sign in and out at central control and turn in any keys.
Don’t take cell phones, cameras, purses or keys into the facilities.
Don’t give the youth ANYTHING without prior approval.
Don’t accept ANYTHING from the youth without permission.
Don’t give paper clips, staples, scissors or any other metal objects to the youth.
Don’t loan pens or pencils without permission.
Don’t give or receive personal information without permission.
Don’t promise to phone people or make outside contact with people for the youth.
Don’t interfere with staff disciple.
Don’t leave designated area without staff or without permission.
